Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main train station), you can take Tram line 3, 7, or 8. Board the tram at the station and travel towards 'Weißigerstraße' (for line 3), 'Gohlis' (for line 7), or 'Wilder Mann' (for line 8). Get off at the 'Theaterplatz' stop, which is a short walk from Semperoper. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the large square in front of you, and you will see the stunning Semperoper building directly ahead.

If you are in the Altstadt (Old Town) area, you can easily walk to Semperoper. From the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), head towards the north on Neumarkt, then turn left onto Theaterstraße. Continue straight until you reach Theaterplatz. Semperoper is located directly at Theaterplatz 2. The walk should take about 10 minutes and will take you through some beautiful historical streets.
