From the Frauenkirche, head southwest towards the Neumarkt square, then turn left onto the Theaterstraße. Continue walking straight until you reach Theaterplatz. The Semperoper will be on your right at Theaterplatz 2.

    Tram

    To reach the Semperoper by tram, find the nearest tram stop, which could be either 'Postplatz' or 'Theaterplatz.' If you are at 'Postplatz,' take tram line 3 or 8 towards 'Coschütz' or 'Bischofsplatz' respectively. Get off at 'Theaterplatz' which is just a stop or two away. Once you exit the tram, you will see the Semperoper directly in front of you.
