Public Transport
From Dresden central station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 11 towards 'Zschertnitz'. Ride for about 14 minutes and get off at the 'Plauen, Dölzschner Straße' stop. After exiting the tram, walk straight along Dölzschner Straße for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Moreauweg'. Turn left onto Moreauweg and continue walking for approximately 10 minutes. The Bismarcksäule will be on your left at the address Moreauweg 1. Look for the tall monument on the hill.
Walking
If you are near the city center, you can walk to The Bismarcksäule. Start at the famous Zwinger Palace and head southeast towards 'Wilsdruffer Strasse'. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Plauen'. From there, follow the directions to 'Moreauweg' which will take about 40 minutes. This route offers a scenic view of the city as you walk towards the hill where the Bismarcksäule is located.
Bus
From the city center, you can also take bus line 61 from the 'Postplatz' bus stop towards 'Dresden, Hellerau'. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Plauen, Dölzschner Straße' stop. From there, walk towards 'Moreauweg', which will take around 10 minutes to reach The Bismarcksäule located at Moreauweg 1.
