Train
From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a regional train (RE) heading towards Köln (Cologne). The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Köln Hauptbahnhof. Once you exit the train station, follow the signs to the Dom (Cathedral) and head towards the main square in front of the cathedral.
Tram
From Düsseldorf, take tram line U74, U76, or U77 from any tram stop towards the station called 'Düsseldorf Hbf'. Once at the main station, switch to a regional train (RE) towards Köln. Get off at Köln Hauptbahnhof. From there, walk to Cäcilienstraße by heading southwest from the cathedral and following the street signs to Cäcilienstraße 46.
Bus
From Düsseldorf, board a bus heading to Köln. Buses typically leave from various stops around the city, including Düsseldorf Hbf. Check the schedules for direct buses to Köln. Upon arrival in Köln, walk towards the nearest U-Bahn (subway) station, and take the U-Bahn line 16 or 18 to the station 'Köln Neumarkt'. From Neumarkt, walk to Cäcilienstraße, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
Walking
If you find yourself in the city center of Düsseldorf, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the Rhine river promenade towards the Altstadt (Old Town). From there, head to the southern train station (Düsseldorf Hbf) and catch a regional train to Köln. Once you arrive in Köln, walk straight from the station towards the Dom (Cathedral) and then head to Cäcilienstraße 46, which is about a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.
