Start at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Düsseldorf Central Station). From the station, take the S-Bahn line S11 towards 'Köln Messe/Deutz'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Köln Hauptbahnhof' (Cologne Central Station). From there, exit the station and head towards the main street, 'Cäcilienstraße'. Walk straight until you reach 'Bahnhofstraße', then turn left. Continue walking until you reach 'Minoritenstraße'. The Kölnisches Stadtmuseum will be on your right at Minoritenstraße 13.
Train
From Düsseldorf, take an ICE or RE train from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof to Köln Hauptbahnhof. The trip lasts about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and turn left onto 'Cäcilienstraße'. Walk straight until you reach 'Bahnhofstraße', then turn left again, continuing until you find 'Minoritenstraße'. The museum is located at Minoritenstraße 13, just a short walk from there.

From Düsseldorf, take bus line 721 from 'Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof' to 'Köln Hbf ZOB'. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in front of Köln Hauptbahnhof, walk towards 'Cäcilienstraße'. Head straight until you reach 'Bahnhofstraße', then turn left. Continue walking until you arrive at 'Minoritenstraße', where the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum is located at number 13.
