From Schleiden, take bus line 836 towards Dreiborn. Alight at the 'Dreiborn-Feuerwehr' bus stop. From there, it's approximately a 900m walk to the Dreiborner Hochfläche parking area, the starting point for the EifelSpur Sonne, Mond und Sterne trail. A single bus fare costs approximately €3-5. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends and holidays.

From Schleiden, follow signs towards Dreiborn. The trailhead is located near Thol, 53937 Schleiden. Limited free parking is available at the Dreiborner Hochfläche parking area. From the parking area, the trail is easily accessible. Be aware that parking can fill up quickly during peak season. There are no tolls on the direct route from Schleiden to the parking area.
