Train

Start at Bonn Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the S-Bahn line S19 towards Köln. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). From there, exit the station and follow the signs for the Cathedral (Kölner Dom). The Christmas market is located at Roncalliplatz, right in front of the Cathedral.
Bus

From Bonn, take bus line 601 from Bonn Hauptbahnhof towards Königswinter. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Bonn, Bad Godesberg Bahnhof'. Transfer to the Regional Express (RE) train towards Köln. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs for the Cathedral (Kölner Dom). The Christmas market is located right in front of the Cathedral at Roncalliplatz.
Walking

If you are already in Bonn and prefer to walk, you can stroll along the Rhine River promenade towards the south. It is a scenic route, taking about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Köln Cathedral. Alternatively, you can take the short train ride as mentioned above, which is more efficient.
