Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, you can reach Eifel National Park via the B265 road. From any location in Eifel, follow signs for Schleiden and then take the B265 towards the park entrance. Once you reach Schleiden, continue on the B265, and look for signs directing you to the Nationalpark Eifel. There is ample parking available at the park entrance, but parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Eifel National Park using public transportation, take a train to the nearest major station, which is in Schleiden. From major cities like Cologne or Bonn, you will have to transfer trains, usually via Kall or Euskirchen. Once in Schleiden, you can take a local bus (Bus Line 205) that directly connects to the park entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary, and tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus. Costs will vary based on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  For those feeling adventurous, consider cycling to Eifel National Park. There are numerous cycling paths leading to the park from various points in Eifel. If you are starting in Schleiden, you can follow the designated cycling routes that lead into the park. Be aware that some areas may be hilly, so ensure you are prepared for a good workout. No extra costs will be incurred beyond your bike rental, if applicable.

• Walking

  If you are already in Schleiden, walking to Eifel National Park is a beautiful option, especially on a nice day.
