Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, set your GPS to Klidinger Bach, Kliding, Germany (latitude: 50.0882848, longitude: 7.0381235). From major cities in Eifel, such as Monschau or Bad Münstereifel, take the B265 road towards Kliding. Once you arrive in Kliding, look for parking areas near the waterfall trailhead. Please note that some parking areas may charge a small fee, usually around €2-5 for the day.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in the town of Gerolstein. From Gerolstein, you can catch a regional bus (Bus line 500) towards Kliding. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited, especially on weekends. The bus fare is typically around €2-4. Once you arrive in Kliding, follow the signs to Klidinger Wasserfall, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are already in Kliding, you can reach Klidinger Wasserfall by walking. From the center of Kliding, head towards Klidinger Bach. There are marked hiking trails leading to the waterfall, and the walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable hiking shoes as the terrain may be uneven.
