Walking
If you are in the heart of Altstadt, head towards the Fischmarkt square. Look for the large, historic buildings surrounding the square. Der Römer is located directly on Fischmarkt, so simply walk towards this square. You will easily spot the impressive historical landmark amidst the bustling atmosphere. It should take you about 5-10 minutes of walking, depending on your starting point.
Public Transport
If you are further away in the Altstadt and prefer using public transportation, you can take the tram to the nearest stop. Look for Tram Line 1, 2, or 4 and board any tram heading towards 'Erfurt Domplatz'. Once you arrive at the 'Anger' stop, disembark and walk towards Fischmarkt. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from there. Follow the signs to Fischmarkt, and you will see Der Römer ahead.
