Walking
If you are starting from the Erfurt Cathedral (Dom St. Marien), head east towards the Cathedral Square (Domplatz). From there, turn left onto the Fischmarkt. Continue straight until you reach the market square. Once at the market square, head towards the Lauentor, which is an old city gate. Follow the signs for Lauentor. Bastionskronenpfad is located right at Lauentor 1, which is just behind the gate.
Public Transportation
Take tram line 1 or 3 from the main station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof) towards 'Gispersleben' or 'Bischleben'. Get off at the 'Anger' stop. From Anger, walk towards the north exit of the square, and continue walking straight until you reach the Lauentor. Bastionskronenpfad will be located at Lauentor 1, just past the gate.
Walking
From the Erfurt Main Market (Marktplatz), head north towards the streets leading to the old city wall. Walk along the wall until you reach Lauentor. Once you arrive at Lauentor, you will see Bastionskronenpfad located right at Lauentor 1. This is a scenic route that allows you to enjoy the architecture and atmosphere of the old town.
