Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Erfurt City Center, head towards Anger 1, which is a central shopping area. From there, walk towards the tram stop 'Anger' and take tram line 1 towards 'Bischleben'. After about 4 stops, get off at 'Stadtwerke' tram stop. Once you exit the tram, continue straight on the main road until you reach the intersection with Ilmstraße. Turn left onto Ilmstraße and walk for approximately 10 minutes. You will see Park an der Ilm on your right. The park entrance is well-marked.

  • Public Transport

    From Erfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 towards 'Bischleben'. Travel for about 5 stops, then get off at 'Stadtwerke'. After exiting the tram, proceed straight along the main road until you reach Ilmstraße. Turn left on Ilmstraße and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Park an der Ilm, which will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a nearby bike-sharing service. Start from Erfurt City Center and head towards the Zitadelle Petersberg.
