Public Transport - Tram
Start at Essen Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Take the U11 tram towards 'Düsseldorf' and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kaiserstraße' stop. From there, walk east on Kaiserstraße until you reach the intersection with Kaiserswerther Str. Turn left onto Kaiserswerther Str. and walk for about 10 minutes. The Japanese Garden will be on your right at Kaiserswerther Str. 380.
