From Essen central station (Essen Hbf), take the S-Bahn line S6 towards Köln Messe/Deutz. Alight at Düsseldorf Hbf (approximately 30 minutes). From Düsseldorf Hbf, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, you can either walk or take a tram. To walk, head southwest on Worringer Straße, then turn left onto Eiskellerstraße. The Kunstakademie Düsseldorf will be on your left at Eiskellerstraße 1.

From Essen central station (Essen Hbf), take the U11 tram towards Düsseldorf. Alight at the 'Königsallee' stop. From there, walk northwest on Königsallee, then turn right onto Eiskellerstraße. Continue straight, and you will find the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf at Eiskellerstraße 1.
