From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S-Bahn line S6 towards Düsseldorf. The train departs frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. Exit the train and follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway). Take U-Bahn line U78 towards 'Messe Nord/Am Froschenteich' or U70 towards 'Duisburg'. Get off at the next stop, 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. Once you exit the station, walk straight ahead and take a right onto Mühlenstraße. Continue walking for about 5 minutes; you will see the Memorial Düsseldorf on your left at Mühlenstraße 29.
