Public Transport
From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S6 train towards Düsseldorf. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and look for the U-Bahn (subway) signs. Take U-Bahn line U78 (towards Düsseldorf, Landtag) or U79 (towards Düsseldorf, Benrath). Get off at the stop 'Tonhalle/Ehrenhof'. From the station, it is a short 5-minute walk to Tonhalle Düsseldorf. Head southwest on Ehrenhof street, and you'll find the concert hall at Ehrenhof 1.
Walking
If you are staying in the city center of Essen, you can walk to the Essen Hauptbahnhof and then follow the public transport instructions above. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it’s roughly a 30-minute walk (2.5 km) from the city center to Düsseldorf's Tonhalle. Head north on Gladbecker Str. toward Altendorfer Str., then take a right onto Altendorfer Str. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Werdener Str. and then follow the signs towards Düsseldorf.

You can also take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Simply provide the driver with the address: Ehrenhof 1, 40479 Düsseldorf. The drive will take approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
