Train
From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S1 train towards Düsseldorf. This train runs frequently, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to the underground station. Take the U78 or U79 tram towards 'Düsseldorf, Heinrich-Heine-Allee' and get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Königsallee. Head southwest on Heinrich-Heine-Allee, then turn left onto Königsallee. You will find Tritonenbrunnen along the avenue.
Bus
From Essen, take the bus line SB 19 from 'Essen, Hauptbahnhof' towards 'Düsseldorf, ZOB'. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at 'Düsseldorf, ZOB' (Central Bus Station). From there, walk towards the main street and follow signs for Königsallee. It’s about a 15-minute walk. You will see Tritonenbrunnen located on the right side of the avenue.
Tram
Take the tram line 105 from Essen Steele to 'Düsseldorf, Oberkasseler Brücke'. The ride will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll need to transfer to tram line 701 towards 'Düsseldorf, Neuss' and get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Königsallee. Walk straight down Heinrich-Heine-Allee, then turn left onto Königsallee, and you will find Tritonenbrunnen.
