From Essen central station (Essen Hauptbahnhof), take the S6 train towards Dortmund. Get off at the stop 'Dülmen'. From there, transfer to bus line 225 towards 'Nordkirchen'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'Venusinsel'. The park is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the city center, walk to the nearest tram station 'Kettwiger Str./ZOB'. Take tram line 107 towards 'Bergmannsfeld'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Bergmannsfeld' and walk towards 'Hochstraße'. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach 'Venusinsel'.

You can also take a taxi from any location in Essen. Just provide the driver with the name 'Venusinsel' and they will take you directly to the park. It is around a 20-minute drive from the city center.
