    From Essen Hauptbahnhof (Essen Central Station), take the RE 5 (Regional Express) train towards Wesel. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Wesel station. Once you arrive at Wesel station, exit the station and head west towards Bahnhofstraße. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Am Schloß. Turn right onto Am Schloß and follow the road until you see the Wesel Citadel on your left.
