If you are driving from central Gooi, take the A1 motorway heading towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A27 motorway towards Almere and then take the exit for the A28 towards Zwolle. Follow the signs for Bocholt. Once in Bocholt, navigate to the town center and look for signs directing you to Bocholter Stadtwald. Parking is available near the park entrance, but ensure you check local parking regulations to avoid fines.

From Gooi, you can take a train from either Hilversum or Naarden-Bussum station to Bocholt. First, take a train to Amersfoort and then transfer to a train heading to Bocholt. Once you arrive at Bocholt station, you can take a local bus (Bus Line 1) that goes directly to Bocholter Stadtwald. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for any changes and be aware that a one-way ticket may cost around €2.50.
