Driving
From Wiesenttal, follow Forchheimer Str. (St2191) towards Doos. The Riesenburg is well-signposted. Parking is available at 'Wanderparkplatz Riesenburg' on the left side of the road, approximately 4.5 km from Behringersmühle. From the parking area, follow the steps to the cave ruins. Parking is free.
Public Transport
Take bus line 389 from Ebermannstadt to the 'Doos Riesenburg' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) following the signs to Höhlenruine Riesenburg. A VGN day ticket is recommended for unlimited travel within the region; prices vary depending on the number of zones covered, but expect to pay around €10-€15 for a day ticket covering multiple zones.
Walking
If hiking from Engelhardsberg, follow the marked hiking trails (yellow or red path) towards Doos and the Riesenburg. The hike is approximately 3 km and offers scenic views of the Wiesenttal valley. No costs are associated with walking.
