Public Transport
From Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main station), take the S3 S-Bahn line towards Neumarkt (Oberpfalz). The journey to Ochenbruck station takes approximately 15 minutes. From Ochenbruck station, it's a pleasant 1.5km (approximately 20-minute) walk to the Schwarzachklamm entrance. Follow the signs towards Schwarzenbruck, then descend into the Wiesengrund (meadow valley). Continue along the Schwarzach River towards the Schwarzach Gorge, passing the Faberschloss (Faber Castle) along the way. This route leads to the Schwarzachwehr (weir) and the entrance to the gorge. A single S-Bahn ticket from Nuremberg to Ochenbruck costs approximately €3.50.

Driving
From Nuremberg, take the A9 motorway south towards Munich. Exit at the Kreuz Nürnberg-Ost interchange onto the A6 towards Amberg/Heilbronn. Take the first exit, Feucht, and follow signs towards Schwarzenbruck. Parking is available near the Schwarzachklamm, including at the Ausflugslokal Brückkanal (Brückkanal Restaurant) and the Plärrer in Schwarzenbruck. Parking is free. From the parking areas, follow the signs to the Schwarzachklamm entrance. Be aware that the entrance to some parking areas may be narrow (around 2.5m wide).

If starting from Schwarzenbruck, follow the local signs towards the Schwarzachklamm. The path leads through the town and then descends into the Schwarzach valley. The walk from the center of Schwarzenbruck to the Schwarzachklamm entrance is approximately 1-2 km and takes about 20-30 minutes. The route is well-marked and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
