    If you are driving from a location in Franconian Switzerland, take the A73 autobahn towards Bamberg. Depending on your starting point, follow local signs to connect to the A73. Once on the A73, take the exit towards Bamberg-West and merge onto B299. Follow signs towards Bamberg city center. Once you arrive in Bamberg, follow the signs to 'Dom' (Cathedral) which will lead you to Dompl. where Bamberg Cathedral is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require payment.

    To reach Bamberg Cathedral using public transportation, find the nearest railway station in Franconian Switzerland, such as in Forchheim or Ebermannstadt. Board a regional train towards Bamberg (the journey usually takes around 30-45 minutes).
