Once you arrive at Braunfels, exit the station and walk towards the road leading to the castle. Follow the signs directing you to 'Schloss Braunfels,' which is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the station.

From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U4 towards Bockenheimer Warte. Transfer at Bockenheimer Warte to Bus Line 12 towards Braunfels. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Get off at the stop 'Schloss Braunfels' which is right in front of the castle entrance.
