The MesseTurm, rising 256.5 meters (843 feet) over Frankfurt's Westend-Süd district, is more than just a building; it's an icon. In 2023, when Germany submitted its application to have Frankfurt selected as the seat of the European Union's Anti-money-laundering authority (AMLA), the Messeturm was one of three options presented as a potential location for the new agency.
