Getting There

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you are at the main train station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn line U6 or U7 towards 'Enkheim' or 'Hausen'. Get off at the 'Zoo' station (2 stops from the main station). Upon exiting the station, follow the signs that direct you towards the zoo. The entrance is just a short walk from the U-Bahn station.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the Römer area in the city center, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Römer/Paulskirche'. Take tram line 14 towards 'Ginnheim'. Get off at 'Zoo' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the entrance to Zoo Frankfurt a few steps away.

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the vicinity of the Frankfurt Cathedral (Kaiserdom), walk east towards the River Main. Cross the bridge (Eiserner Steg) and continue along the riverbank until you reach the intersection with Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee. Turn left onto Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee, and you will find Zoo Frankfurt on your right in about 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the Frankfurt City Hall (Rathaus), walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Römer'. Take bus line 30 towards 'Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at the 'Zoo' stop. After getting off, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the entrance to Zoo Frankfurt.
