Walking
If you are in the Westend area, you can easily walk to Tropicarium. Start by heading towards the main street, Bockenheimer Landstraße, and walk south. Continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will eventually come to a large park area. The Tropicarium is located near the entrance of the park, on the left side. Look for the signage indicating 'Tropicarium' as you approach.
Public Transport
From any point in Westend, you can take the U-Bahn (subway). Head to the nearest subway station, which is 'Bockenheimer Warte'. Take the U6 or U7 line heading towards 'Kleinmarkthalle' or 'Oberursel' respectively. Get off at the 'Schweizer Platz' station (2 stops). Once you exit the station, walk straight for about 5 minutes. The Tropicarium will be on your right. A single ticket costs about €2.75.
