If you're up for a longer walk, start from the center of Freiburg and head towards the nearest tram station. Take tram line 1 to the end of the line at the station 'Vauban'. From there, continue walking in the direction of Eguisheim, following the bike paths. This route is about 18 km and may take around 4 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way and once you reach the village, head to Rue des Merles.
