Getting There

If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south on Bismarckallee. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and walk through the pedestrian zone. This area is filled with shops and cafes, making for a pleasant stroll. Continue until you reach the large square at the end of Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, known as the Rathausplatz.

Once you arrive at Rathausplatz, you will see the historic Town Hall. From here, take the street that leads to the right of the Town Hall, which is the Münsterplatz. You’ll see the Freiburg Minster (Münster) in front of you. Walk towards the Minster and take a moment to admire its stunning architecture.
