Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the U2 subway line towards Mümmelmannsberg. Get off at the station 'Messberg' (about 5 stops). From there, exit the station and head towards the street 'Messberg' and walk straight. Continue onto 'Bakerstraße' until you reach the 'Willy-Brandt-Straße' intersection. Turn left onto Willy-Brandt-Straße and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will see Maiden Bridge ahead, located in the HafenCity area.

    If you are in the city center, you can walk to Maiden Bridge. Begin at the historic Town Hall (Rathaus) and head southeast along 'Rathausstraße'. Continue straight until you reach 'Gerhard-Hauptmann-Straße', then turn right. Follow this street until you reach the waterfront. Once you arrive at the water, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach Maiden Bridge. It's about a 20-minute walk.

    From Landungsbrücken, take the ferry line 62 towards Finkenwerder. Enjoy the scenic ride along the Elbe River. Get off at the 'Überseequartier' stop. From there, walk towards 'Dalmannkai' and continue straight until you reach Maiden Bridge. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes, and the walk from the ferry stop is around 10 minutes.
