Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are near Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U1 towards Norderstedt Mitte. Get off at the station 'Steinstraße' (approximately 2 stops). From the Steinstraße station, exit and walk east towards the intersection with Mönckebergstraße. Continue straight on Mönckebergstraße until you reach the intersection with Jakobikirchhof. Turn left onto Jakobikirchhof, and you will find St. James' Church at Jakobikirchhof 22.

    If you are in the city center, you can easily walk to St. James' Church. Start at the Town Hall (Rathaus) located on Rathausmarkt. Head east on Rathausmarkt, then continue on Mönckebergstraße. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Jakobikirchhof. Turn left onto Jakobikirchhof, and St. James' Church will be on your right.

    If you are near the 'Mönckebergstraße' bus stop, take Bus 6 towards 'Reeperbahn'. Get off at the stop 'Rathausmarkt'.
