Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    If you're starting from Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Kirchenallee. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Am Hauptbahnhof. Here, you will see signs for bus stops. Take bus line 6 or 7 towards 'Bergedorf' or 'Alsterdorf' and get off at the 'Mönckebergstraße' stop. From there, it's a short walk: head southwest on Mönckebergstraße, then take a left onto Am Mariendom. St. Marien-Dom will be on your right after a few minutes.

  • Walking

    From the Mönckebergstraße shopping street, walk southwest towards the intersection with Am Mariendom. Continue walking straight until you reach Am Mariendom 1, where St. Marien-Dom is located. It should take you about 10 minutes on foot from this point.

    From Hamburg Central Station, take tram line 3 towards 'Barmbek' and get off at the 'Münzviertel' stop. Walk southeast on Münzstraße until you reach Am Mariendom. St. Marien-Dom will be located a short distance ahead on your left.
