If you are in the city center, head to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U3 towards 'Altwarmbüchen'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Herrenhäuser Gärten'. Exit the station and follow the signs leading towards Herrenhäuser Str. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Herrenhäuser Str. 4, where Big Cascade is located within the Herrenhausen Gardens.

If you are near Maschsee, you can walk to Big Cascade. Start at the south end of Maschsee and head north towards the city. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Georgengarten. Walk through the park towards Herrenhäuser Allee, then continue to Herrenhäuser Str. Turn left at Herrenhäuser Str. and walk for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Herrenhäuser Str. 4.
