Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Hannover Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head to the bus stop located at the front. Look for bus line 100 or 200 heading towards 'Alte Stadt' or 'Hannover Altstadt'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Markthalle' stop, which is a short walk from Hannover Altstadt.

  • Walking

    From the 'Markthalle' bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the right along 'Schillerstraße'. Continue straight until you reach 'Ständehausstraße'. Turn left on 'Ständehausstraße', and you will find Hannover Altstadt located at Ständehausstraße 11, 30159 Hannover. This walk will take approximately 5-7 minutes.

  • Tram

    From the Hannover Hauptbahnhof, you can take tram line 10 or 17. Board the tram at the station and get off at 'Aegidientorplatz'. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk: head east on 'Aegidientorplatz', turn left onto 'Goseriede', and continue straight until you reach 'Ständehausstraße'. Turn right, and Hannover Altstadt will be on your left.
