Public Transport - Tram
From the city center (e.g., Kröpcke station), take Tram Line 8 towards 'Messe/Nord'. The trams run frequently, approximately every 10 minutes. Once you board the tram, stay on for about 15 minutes. You will pass through several stops, including 'Aegidientorplatz' and 'Langenhagen'. Get off at the 'Messe/Nord' stop. After exiting the tram, follow the signs directing you towards the Fairground, which is just a short walk away.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), you can take Bus Line 134 towards 'Messe'. The bus stop is directly outside the station. Board the bus and remain on it for about 20 minutes. You will pass through several stops, including 'Willy-Brandt-Allee' and 'Messe/Nord'. Disembark at the 'Messe' stop. From here, it's a short walk to the entrance of the Hanover Fairground.
Walking
If you are already in the Döhren-Wülfel area, you can walk to the Hanover Fairground. Start from the nearest tram or bus stop, such as 'Messe/Nord'. Head towards the Messegelände (Fairground) by walking south. Follow the signs towards the fairground which is located at Messegelände, 30521 Hannover. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Hannover. You can find rental stations throughout the city. Once you have your bike, head towards the fairground by cycling along the designated bike paths. The ride from the city center to the Hanover Fairground is about 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed.
