Walking
If you are in the central area of Hannover, start at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Exit the station and head towards the main square (Kröpcke). From Kröpcke, walk straight along the pedestrian zone (Georgstraße) until you reach the intersection with the Willy-Brandt-Allee. Turn right onto Willy-Brandt-Allee and continue walking straight. After a few minutes, you will see the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) on your left at Trammplatz 2.

Tram
From the central train station (Hauptbahnhof), go to the tram stop located outside the station. You can take tram line 1 or line 2 towards 'Messe/Nord' or 'Bismarckstraße'. Travel for two stops and get off at 'Kröpcke'. From there, transfer to tram line 4 towards 'Stöcken' or line 5 towards 'Langenhagen'. Get off at 'Trammplatz' which is the stop closest to New Town Hall. The building will be directly in front of you.

If you prefer to take the bus, go to the bus stop at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). You can catch bus number 100 or 200. Ride the bus for a few stops and get off at 'Trammplatz'. The New Town Hall will be a short walk from the bus stop, directly ahead.
