Public Transport
From Hannover Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn line S1 or S2 towards 'Hannover Hbf' and get off at 'Herrenhausen' station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto 'Herrenhäuser Allee' and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to the Herrenhausen Gardens on your right, and the Sundial is located within the gardens.

If you are near the historic city center (Altstadt), head towards the 'Kropcke' square. From there, walk down 'Georgstrasse' until you reach the 'Kröpcke' tram station. Take tram line 4 towards 'Herrenhausen' and get off at 'Herrenhausen'. After exiting the tram, turn left onto 'Herrenhäuser Allee' and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Herrenhausen Gardens, where the Sundial is located.
