There are signs directing you to Soldatenstein from the parking area, which is approximately a 15-minute hike up a scenic trail.

To reach Soldatenstein via public transportation, take a train or bus to Wernigerode. From the Wernigerode train station, you can catch bus line 251 towards 'Hahnenklee'. Get off at the 'Hahnenklee' stop, which is the closest stop to Soldatenstein. From there, follow the marked hiking trails that lead to Soldatenstein. The hike will take about 30 minutes, and the paths are well-maintained and clearly signed.

Hiking

If you're already in the vicinity and prefer hiking, you can access Soldatenstein from several surrounding hiking trails. The most popular route starts from the Wernigerode town center.
