Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Wernigerode. Head southeast on Breite Str. towards Unter den Linden, then turn right onto B244. Continue on B244, following the signs for Schierke and the Brocken. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the village of Schierke. Once in Schierke, follow the signs for Brockenstraße, and you will find Brunnen at Brockenstraße 3. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a fee of around €2-4 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Brunnen using public transportation, take a train from any major station in Harz National Park to Wernigerode. From Wernigerode train station, catch a bus to Schierke. The bus line 251 operates frequently. Once you arrive in Schierke, walk towards Brockenstraße, where you will find Brunnen at Brockenstraße 3. The bus fare should cost around €2-3. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Walking
If you're already in Schierke, Brunnen is within walking distance. From the Schierke bus stop, head northwest on Brockenstraße for about 500 meters. You will pass by scenic spots along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Brunnen, which will be on your right at Brockenstraße 3. The walk should take approximately 7-10 minutes.
