Car
If you're driving, start from Bad Harzburg. Head southeast on B4 and continue for around 5 km. Turn right onto L514, which leads into Harz National Park. Follow the signs for Mausefalle. The parking area is available near the location, and parking is generally free.
Public Transportation
Take the regional train from major cities like Göttingen or Wernigerode to Bad Harzburg. Once in Bad Harzburg, you can catch bus line 1 towards Torfhaus. Get off at the 'Mausefalle' stop, which is the closest stop to the attraction. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes and tickets typically cost around €3-€5.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Bad Harzburg, you can also walk to Mausefalle. From the center of Bad Harzburg, head southwest towards the B4 road. After about a 30-minute walk, you will reach Mausefalle. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
