If driving, navigate towards Torfhaus via the B4 highway. From Torfhaus, follow signs for Torfhausmoor. Parking is available at the Großparkplatz Torfhaus, a large paid parking lot approximately 80 meters from the Torfhaus National Park Visitor Center, which serves as a gateway to the moor. Parking costs approximately €5 per day. Two designated disabled parking spaces are available free of charge closer to the visitor center.

To reach Torfhausmoor by public transport, take a train to Bad Harzburg. From the Bad Harzburg, Bahnhof Parkdeck, take bus line 820 towards Braunlage. The bus stops directly at Torfhaus, a few meters from the National Park Visitor Center and the entrance to Torfhausmoor trails. The bus fare from Bad Harzburg to Torfhaus is approximately €3-€5, depending on the route.

If you are already in Torfhaus, follow the well-marked hiking trails leading towards Torfhausmoor. The walk from the Torfhaus National Park Visitor Center to the moor is approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow signs for the 'Moorstieg' or 'Große Torfhausmoor' to reach the boardwalk and main viewing areas.
