Getting There

  • Tram

    From Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 24 towards 'Heidelberg Ziegelhausen'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Tiergarten' stop. The zoo entrance is a short walk from the tram stop, just follow the signs leading to Tiergartenstraße.

  • Bus

    From Bismarckplatz (a central area in Heidelberg), take bus number 39 towards 'Heidelberg Ziegelhausen'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Tiergarten' bus stop. Walk along Tiergartenstraße for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the entrance of the zoo.
