Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 4 or 7 towards 'Leutzsch' or 'Gohlis' respectively. After about 5 stops, get off at the 'Augustusplatz' stop. Transfer to tram line 12 towards 'Messe' and ride for 2 stops. Get off at 'Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße'. From there, walk straight down Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Johannapark.

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center at the Marktplatz, head east towards Grimmaische Straße. Continue straight until you reach Augustusplatz. From Augustusplatz, walk towards the tram stop and catch tram line 12 towards 'Messe'. Get off at 'Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße' and walk straight down the street for about 5 minutes to reach Johannapark.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head west towards the Elster River. Follow the bike paths along the river until you reach the 'Clara Zetkin Park'. From there, navigate to Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße by following the signs towards the park, which is about a 15-minute ride from the city center.
