Getting There

Walking
From Connewitz, head towards the main road, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Härtelstraße. Cross the street and continue straight, following the signs towards the city center (Zentrum). After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the Rosental park entrance on your left, just before the bridge over the Elster river.

If you prefer to take public transport, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Connewitz Kreuz' on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. Board tram line 11 towards 'Plagwitz' and ride for 3 stops. Get off at 'Leipzig, Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz' and transfer to tram line 1 or 2. Take either tram towards 'Gohlis' or 'Mockau' for 2 stops, and get off at 'Leipzig, Rosenthal.' From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance.
