From the Lübeck Altstadt (Old Town), walk east towards the Wakenitz River. Cross the Hüxtertorbrücke bridge and continue along the Wakenitzufer path. The Schulgarten entrance is a short walk further along the riverbank, on the corner of An der Falkenwiese. The Steingarten is located within the Schulgarten grounds. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views of the river. Alternatively, from the Sportzentrum Falkenwiese, walk along the path towards the Wakenitzufer; the Schulgarten is directly adjacent.

From Lübeck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus lines 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 15, 21, 25 or 40 to the 'An der Falkenwiese' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the Wakenitzufer. The Schulgarten entrance will be on your left. A single bus fare within Lübeck is approximately €2.50 - €3.00.
