Car
If you are driving from Moselle, head towards the A31 motorway. Take the exit for the N57 towards Épinal. Continue on the N57 until you reach the D11 road. Follow the D11 towards Bussang. Once you arrive in Bussang, take the Rte des Sources, which will lead you directly to the Source of the Moselle. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transportation
To reach the Source of the Moselle using public transport, start by taking a train from any major station in Moselle to the town of Épinal. The train journey typically takes about 1 hour. Once in Épinal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Bussang (check the local bus schedule for times). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Bussang, you can walk to the Source of the Moselle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check both train and bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
