If you are traveling by car, start your journey from central Munich. Take the A95 motorway towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Starnberg/Feldafing (Exit 4). Continue on B2 towards Feldafing. Upon reaching Feldafing, follow the signs to the Starnberger See (Lake Starnberg). Drive to the lakeshore in Feldafing, where you will find the parking area near the ferry terminal. Please note that parking may incur a fee of around €5-€10 for the day.

For those using public transportation, take the S6 line from Munich Hauptbahnhof (main station) towards Tutzing. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at Feldafing station. From the station, it's a 15-minute walk to the lakeshore. Head down the main road (Bahnhofstraße) towards the lake, then follow the signs to the ferry terminal where you can catch a ferry to Rose Island. The ferry ride costs about €5 for a round trip.
