Public Transport
If you are in the city center, take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U2 from Marienplatz station towards Messestadt Ost. Get off at the station 'Olympiazentrum' (approximately 10 minutes ride). Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Olympiapark. BMW Welt is located just a short 10-minute walk from the station. Head towards the large park area, and you will see the distinctive architecture of BMW Welt ahead.
Bus
From the central area, you can take Bus 100 or 153 towards 'Olympiapark'. If you start at the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), board the Bus 100 which departs frequently from the bus stop in front of the station. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Olympiapark' stop. BMW Welt is within walking distance; just follow the path leading into the Olympiapark area.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, such as in the Maxvorstadt area, you can walk to BMW Welt. Start from the intersection of Ludwigstraße and Leopoldstraße. Head north on Leopoldstraße, then take a left onto Widenmayerstraße. Continue straight until you reach the park entrance. Walk through Olympiapark, and you will find BMW Welt close to the central area of the park. This walk will take about 30 minutes.
Tram
From the central train station (Hauptbahnhof), take Tram Line 20 or 21 towards 'München, St.-Martin-Straße'. Get off at 'Olympia-Einkaufszentrum' (approximately 15 minutes). From there, follow the pedestrian signs leading to Olympiapark. BMW Welt is a short 15-minute walk from the tram stop, through the park paths.
