Public Transport
If you are starting from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn line S2, S4, S6, S7, or S8 towards the direction of Erding, Leuchtenbergring, or any of the lines that stop at Ostbahnhof. Get off at Ostbahnhof station. From there, exit the station and head towards Rosenheimer Str. You will find Gasteig located at Rosenheimer Str. 5, just about a 10-minute walk from the station.

If you are near Sendlinger Tor, take Tram line 25 in the direction of St. Anna-Platz. Get off at the stop 'Gasteig' which is directly in front of the cultural center. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes.
