Public Transport - U-Bahn
If you're starting from the central area of Munich, make your way to the nearest U-Bahn station, which could be 'Marienplatz'. From Marienplatz, take the U6 line towards Klinikum Großhadern. Get off at the next stop, 'Sendlinger Tor'. From Sendlinger Tor, transfer to the U2 line towards Messestadt Ost. Get off at 'Theresienstraße'. From the station, exit and head northwest on Theresienstraße. Turn right onto Salvatorstraße and you will find Holnstein Palace on your left.
Public Transport - Tram
You can also take a tram to reach Holnstein Palace. Find the nearest tram stop, such as 'Karlsplatz/Stachus'. Board tram line 19 towards 'Josefplatz'. After a few stops, get off at 'Königsplatz'. From there, walk southeast on Widenmayerstraße, then turn left onto Salvatorstraße. Holnstein Palace will be on your right.
Walking
If you're in the vicinity of the Altstadt-Lehel area, you can walk to Holnstein Palace. Start from the famous Marienplatz, walk north on the Kaufingerstraße until you reach the 'Karlsplatz/Stachus'. Continue to walk straight onto Sonnenstraße, then turn left onto Salvatorstraße. Follow Salvatorstraße, and you will see Holnstein Palace on your right.
Bus
To reach Holnstein Palace by bus, find a bus stop nearby, for instance, 'Karlsplatz'. Board bus line 58 towards 'Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at 'Ludwigstraße'. From there, it's a brief walk: head south on Ludwigstraße, turn right onto Salvatorstraße, and you will see Holnstein Palace ahead.
