U-Bahn
To reach Maximilianeum by U-Bahn, find your way to any nearby U-Bahn station. If you're near Marienplatz, take the U2 line towards Messestadt Ost. Get off at the stop 'Kreuzstraße'. Once you exit the station, walk east on Kreuzstraße until you reach the intersection with Max-Planck-Straße. Turn left onto Max-Planck-Straße, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Maximilianeum will be on your left.
Tram
If you're near the central area, you can take a tram to reach the Maximilianeum. Board tram line 19 at either the 'Karlsplatz (Stachus)' or 'Sendlinger Tor' stop and head towards 'Pasing'. Disembark at the 'Max-Weber-Platz' stop. From there, walk east along Max-Weber-Platz, which turns into Max-Planck-Straße. After a 10-minute walk, you'll arrive at the Maximilianeum on your left.
Bus
To get to the Maximilianeum by bus, locate a bus stop for line 100 or 190. If you are at the central station (Hauptbahnhof), you can take bus 100 towards 'München, Sendlinger Tor'. Get off at the 'Maximilianeum' bus stop. From there, the entrance is just a short walk away; follow the signs towards Max-Planck-Straße.
Walking
If you are staying in the Au-Haidhausen area, you can walk to the Maximilianeum. Start by heading southeast on Wörthstraße, then turn right onto Max-Planck-Straße. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, and you will see the Maximilianeum on your left. This is a pleasant walk with scenic views along the way.
